3 sisters among multiple ‘Imagine Nepal’ Team Everest Summiteers – 12th May
Mingma G has announced that several of his ‘Imagine Nepal’ Team summitted Everest on the morning of May 12th.
“Congratulations to 3 sisters and our team members.”
The three sisters of the same family were on a mission to set a world record by climbing the highest mountains of all 7 continents.
This morning, at 7am local time, they successfully scaled the world’s highest peak. They are the first three sisters to reach the top together.
Of the others, Nima Jangmu Sherpa also holds the record of Fastest Triple Header of 3 Higher 8000ers under Female category. She had climbed Everest, Lhotse and Kanchenjunga in a single season within 25 days in 2018 and also become the only Nepali woman to stand atop the world’s third-highest peak.
Dawa Futi, is the youngest member of the group and Sirbaz Khan successfully scaled Everest to claim his 7th 8000m plus summit.
