Everest 2021 Update – Alpine Ascents – 10th May
An Everest update from Ben Jones, Expidition Leader at Alpine Ascents – 10th May.
“Today we had perfect weather and conditions for our climb to Camp 3. Everyone did great! We arrived in two groups not far apart but everyone was very strong. The Lhotse face is in great condition.
“Tomorrow we will head down to Basecamp as we wait patiently for our summit window.
“The next two days our Sherpa team will be doing the heavy lifting and taking loads to the South Col, a very tough job! Once that is complete we will just be looking at the weather and planning for our summit attempt.”
