Everest 2021 Update – Imagine Nepal – 5th May
An Everest update from Mingma G, Imagine Nepal, from 5th May.
“We are back to base camp acclimatizing above Camp 2.
“Some of our members slept at Camp 3 and some touched the Lhotse face. Our Sherpa team will make another round to Camp 4 (south Col) tonight and they will descend to Base Camp for rest on Thursday. Then we are ready for final summit push.
“We have been reading so many news about COVID-19 at Everest base camp on social sites and medias but we are not having such deadly situations here. Our staffs team arrived here on 30th March and we have not see any COVID-19 cases in our team.
“Everything is going smoothly at Everest Base Camp.”
