Everest 2021 Update – Record 25th Summit for Kami Rita Sherpa

Congratulations go to Kami Rita Sherpa for a 25th successful ascent of Mount Everest.

Kami Rita Sherpa, made 25th successful ascent of Mt. Everest at 18:00 local time on 7 May 2021 as the leader of the 11 strong rope fixing team.

Kami, who is working as a senior Climbing Guide at Seven Summit Treks P. Ltd, scaled the Mt Everest for the first time in 1994 – May 13th.

Between 1994 to 2021 he has now summited Everest 25 times, K2 and Lhotse once each, Manaslu three times, and Cho Oyu 8 times, giving him the record of “Most climbs over 8000m”.
