Everest 2021 Update – Seva Gorlach – 6th May

An Everest update from Seva Gorlach – 6th May

“Acclimatisation rotation was a success having touched camp 3 at 7,100m.

“The Khumbu Icefall is breathtakingly beautiful but so dangerous, get in and get out.

“Lhotse face a wall of glacial ice, the slope averaging 45 degrees but at times almost vertical, makes for an interesting climb! Heavy snowfall has prevented rockfall on Lhotse face but at the same time delayed the rope fixing to south col.

“The team is healthy and strong and ready for the summit push when the route is open.

“Incredible guiding @tsheringbhote, thank you!”
