Everest 2021 Update – Sirbhaz Khan – 8th May

An Everest update from Sirbhaz Khan – 8th May.

“Raising the green flag on top of the world has always been a dream. This dream has reached its final stage. Tomorrow when I leave from the basecamp – I leave with the aim to raise Pakistan’s flag at the summit of Mt Everest.

“I am feeling good and ready. Weather also looks stable for the next 5 days. I will give my beloved nation a special gift on this Eid.

“I would like to thank all the sherpa brothers who have worked so hard to fix the lines all the way to the summit. Huge shout out to the legendary Kami Rita Sherpa for summiting Mt Everest for a record 25th time.

“My sincere prayers and best wishes for all the other climbers especially for Shehroze Kashif, my little brother and fellow Mountaineer from Pakistan. Shehroze has already reached C2 and very soon he’ll become the youngest Pakistani to summit Mt Everest.

“Another special thing about Everest 2021 is the remarkable 3 sisters team attempting to summit the highest Mountain in the world together. They are the sisters of my brother like friend Mingma G. Lots of love, respect and prayers for our sisters attempting this incredible feat.

“Requesting your support and prayers. Let’s join hands and do this together.”
