Everest 2021 Update – Alaa Aljuneidi – 1st May
Alaa Aljuneidi (ALaaDin), gave us an update from EBC via his Instagram account on 1st May.
“A few hours to my second rotation in Mount Everest.”
“This time I will push till camp 3 (7200 meters). In the last hours I received so much love from you and new supporters joined #daretobe mission. So I decided to bring with me the #daretobe flag so that I can get the energy of your love and support in the next days.”
“The plan is to leave tonight at 3.00AM, sleeping at camp 1 (6000meters) for the following night, then move to camp 2 (6400 meters) sleep the night. The day after moving to Camp 3 (7200 meters) breathe some thin air and go back to Camp 2 for the night. The day after coming back to base camp and waiting for the summit plan.”
