Everest Gin launched with ‘Summit Snow’
The Adventurers Drinks Company has launched its latest creation – Everest Gin, a small-batch spirit crafted with botanicals from the Himalayan foothills and a truly unique ingredient: snow collected from the summit of the world’s highest mountain.
Inspired by renowned British mountaineer Kenton Cool, Everest Gin aims to capture the resilience, purity, and spirit of adventure that defines the mountain itself. Each bottle is hand-crafted using juniper, coriander, angelica, cardamom, pepper, and bay leaf – herbs and spices sourced from the lower reaches of the Himalayas – and contains a single drop of melted summit snow, collected by Cool during his record-breaking 19th successful ascent of Mount Everest.
Bright, aromatic, and rich with herbal complexity, the gin promises “a rare taste of altitude, wilderness, and wonder.”
“Everest Gin isn’t just a drink – it’s an experience,” said Cool. “Each bottle holds a piece of the mountain, a symbol of endurance and the untamed spirit of exploration.”
Founder Phil Kite said the release embodies the company’s mission to create premium drinks inspired by the world’s most iconic landscapes and the bold individuals who explore them.
“This isn’t just about launching a gin,” he explained. “It’s about bottling a story that speaks to every adventurer – whether they climb real mountains or overcome their own personal challenges.”
A portion of profits from every bottle will be donated to The Gurkha Welfare Trust, which supports Gurkha veterans, their families, and their communities with financial, medical, and development aid.
Everest Gin is available now from adventurersdrinks.co.uk for £37.50 (US$50). In addition, 19 limited-edition bottles signed by Kenton Cool – representing each of his successful Everest ascents – will be sold at a premium price, with all profits going directly to the charity.
