Kenton Cool
“Everest Time!!
Packed, locked and loaded!!!
Tomorrow I fly to Kathmandu to start the journey to Everest again!!”

Eva Steinwald
“Today is a rest day, which means we do an acclimatization hike. We are in Pheriche which is 14k and our hike took us to 16,4k. Tomorrow we move up to Lobuche Basecamp.
I am taking it all in. I feel so blessed and grateful to be here.
Namaste.”

Climbing The Seven Summits
“Our Western Guided team got in their first training day on the icefall today. They will get out again tomorrow for a bigger day of training. The icefall doctors have put in the route to Camp 2 and our Sherpa team has already started carrying loads up the mountain. Looks like more good weather in store for tomorrow!”

Karl Egloff
“First days of acclimatization in the Himalayas in Nepal. Walking through these villages with their culture and extraordinary people is simply a privilege.
The next two weeks will be for acclimatization and training before heading to the base camp of the majestic Chomolungma 8848m (Everest).
From a hurried life that we are used to have, one begins to enter the himalayan rhythm, the days pass slowly, I miss the family, I start to read and write and the loneliness is felt but it is essential to acclimatize meticulously and it is time to connect with the mountain.”

Honest Artillery Company
“Delicious coffee at Namche Bazar! Thank you kindly for the incredible hospitality and your blessing to climb Everest.”

Everest One Australia
“We Did It – Everest Base Camp, 2pm Friday!
After a six-hour trek from Lobuche, we reached Everest Base Camp right on schedule—Friday at 2pm. We had snow the whole time and it was beautiful.
Spirits were high as we arrived at the famous “Rock,” the landmark where most trekkers pause for photos. But for us, it was just a marker today, we continued past it, heading deeper into the camp to our very own home within EBC.
The moment was surreal. The energy, the views, the achievement—it all started to sink in. Our group was buzzing with joy, soaking up every bit of the magic that surrounded us. We settled into camp for two nights, tucked into box tents with thick mattresses, warmed by hot water bags at night. The heated dining dome became our sanctuary, complete with endless snacks, steaming mugs of masala tea, mouthwatering freshly cooked meals – including delicious pizza – and UNO game.”

Julia Lyubova
“No shortcuts to the top!
The approach to Everest base camp is long and the altitude is felt already on day 2. That’s why it’s important to acclimatise – climb higher sleep lower.
We had 2 days in Dingbouche at 4340m and hiked up Nargorjun 5079m for acclimatisation. We were rewarded by beautiful views and an encounter with a Himalayan Tahr on the summit.
Today we continued the trek to Lobuche 4930m and hiked just a 100m up but again were rewarded by beautiful views of Himalayan giants
Going slowly, drinking plenty of liquids, taking breaks, and even so a headache and feeling tired are normal.”

Ben Wright
“Everest day 1
Started the day at 5:30am and waited 3 hours to get a heli from Kathmandu, finally got to Lukla airport after a cool flight at 10:30 and grabbed some lunch!
We trekked from Lukla to Phakding which was a nice 3 hour steady hike so we are now at 2,600m, great to be back and get started on this journey.”

Climbing The Seven Summits
“Our Everest 40 day Speed Ascent and EBC Trek teams hit the trail tomorrow!”

Expeditions High Mountain Treks
“Our second Everest team is off to a stunning start!
Due to unstable weather, they flew in by helicopter to Lukla—and what a ride it was! Epic views, smooth skies, and a bold entry into the Khumbu.
Today, they completed their acclimatization hike to Hotel Everest View—an incredible place to pause, breathe, and take in Everest itself with a warm cup of tea.
This team includes one Everest climber and three trekkers, all exploring the Himalayas in their own way—but together.”

AGA Adventures
“It seems the sun has been a rarity this spring! Extremely strange weather in the region making treks and climbs very difficult so far
Hoping the weather clears up for our Lobuche East Peak team tonight and Everest further down the season!”

THIS POST WILL BE UPDATED REGULARLY THROUGHOUT THE DAY WITH DAILY UPDATES COMING ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE EVEREST 2025 SEASON
