Everest 2021 Update – Tim Mosedale – 2nd May
Tim Mosedale gave us this update about today’s incident via his Instagram account
“Witnessed some EPIC flying earlier as a heli went in to the Khumbu Icefall to rescue some injured climbers.
“Sounds like there’d been a small shift in some ice structure that impacted on a couple of folk. Details somewhat limited as I was on my way out of EBC en route to Gorak Shep for a rest day.
“The skill and professionalism that the heli pilots exhibit in this remote high altitude environment is utterly spectacular. There’s very little margin for error up here and these guys are outstanding.”
