Everest 2021 Update – Alpine Ascents – 6th May
An Everest update from Ben Jones, Expedition Leader at Alpine Ascents – 6th May.
“After several days here at Basecamp resting, we are ready to head back up the mountain!
“We will spend one night at Camp 1, and 3 nights at Camp 2 before heading back to Basecamp. After a full rest day at Camp 2 we will woke up early and don our down suits for a climb up the Lhotse face to touch Camp 3.
“After that our acclimatization process will pretty much be complete and we will head back to Basecamp to wait patiently for a weather window for our summit.
“Thanks for following along, the team is excited and feeling strong!”
