Mountain Cleaning Campaign 2021
An initiative to collect and manage solid waste left over on the mountains of Nepal has this week been successfully concluded.
The Nepal Army in partnership with various Government and private companies started the campaign of cleaning six different mountains of Nepal on April 15,2021.
As a result, 27.6 tons of garbage and 4 dead bodies, including two from Everest Camp 4 (8000m), were collected and handed over to the appropriate agencies for management.
