An Everest update from Dawa Steven Sherpa from Asian Trekking – 4th May.

“An early morning pic of climbers going up from Camp 1 (6000m) on Everest yesterday.

“Since there are many crevasses around camp 1 climbers have to crisis-cross around them in long perpendicular lines to the direction you want to go. This can add hours to your climb but at least the view is incredible.

“In the background are Mt. Pumori on the left, Mt. Gyanchungkhang in the center and Mt. Lingtren on the right.”
