An Everest update from Remy Kloos – 8th May
“Back at base camp after dropping low for a few days to breathe in some rich and joyous oxygen, and I didn’t know seeing trees, touching grass and spotting blooms would make me so blissfully happy. What a feeling!!
“Now we are back at base camp watching the weather and planning when to head up up up. Yesterday at 6pm an amazing team of 12 sherpa fixed the lines all the way up to the summit of Everest. So now we wait for the same confirmation for Lhotse.
“Feeling cozy and snug in my @firstascentsa fleece. Being here at base camp again feels like home. I feel energized and little overwhelmed for the mission that lies ahead. All the good vibes are so very welcomed!!!!”
