“A beautiful day above Pheriche.
Today we hiked up to just above 5000m to Nangkartshang. This little peak gives a fabulous view of some of the most majestic Himalayan peaks.”
Karl Egloff
“Another beautiful day out there in the Himalayas
4th time on this beautiful Mera Peak 6467m!
This time a little bit rough!
Good for mental training
A few more days and climbs before Everest Base Camp.”
Elite Expedition
“All our Everest climbers have now safely arrived at Everest Base Camp, marking the beginning of their journey.
Today, we held the traditional puja ceremony, a deeply spiritual ritual seeking blessings from the mountain gods for a safe climb and summit success. In Himalayan culture, it’s essential to show respect to the mountain before setting foot on its slopes.
The atmosphere was filled with chanting, laughter, dancing, and joy, bringing the entire team together in unity and purpose. These moments remind us that climbing isn’t just about reaching the top—it’s about the journey, the people, and the respect for nature and culture.”
Climbing The Seven Summits
“Everest rotations underway! Our first team (Western Guided Team) has ascended to Camp 1 today and they plan to tag camp 2 tomorrow.
Our 3 Peaks team made a strong effort on Island Peak but turned back below the summit. It was a beautiful morning for a climb and lots of fun was had. Check out the images!
Josh’s EBC trekking team is now in Lobuche base camp looking to join the climbers at EBC in the next few days.
All is good in the Khumbu!”
Poornima Shrestha
“Countless questions—‘Everest again?’ ‘How many times this season?’ The answer is straightforward—as long as the mountains call, I will go.
Once again, I have set out to climb Mount Everest. I would like to thank all the well-wishers from the bottom of my heart.”

“Namaste from Everest Base Camp! After a trek through the Khumbu Valley, we’ve arrived. Surrounded by ice and giants, we train, bond, and prepare for the climb. Spirits are high—one breath, one step, always respecting the mountain’s rhythm.”

“EVEREST BASE CAMP – WE’RE IN!
After days of trekking through roaring rivers, swinging bridges, and ancient Sherpa trails—our first expedition group have successfully made it to the foot of the giant, Mt. Everest.

Now the real journey begins. Altitude training, gear checks, ice practice… and eyes fixed on the summit.
We’re not just visitors—we’re here to climb.”

“Everest Expedition Day 13: Rest day at Chhukung (4800m).
Today we have spent practicing ladder drills and revising technical skills. Looking forward to heading to the Island Peak base camp tomorrow.”
Eva Steinwald
“I had to check my calendar to see what day it is – it’s day ten. Once I embark on an expedition, I love how time becomes irrelevant, and the days blend together in a thrilling adventure. On Day #10, we tackled another acclimatization hike up to 5700 meters, 18,700 ft, with plenty of scrambling and breathtaking views. Our expedition company, @climbingthesevensummits is strategically situated at the end of EBC, right under the Icefall. To walk to the other end of EBC takes at least 45 minutes, giving you a sense of the vastness of this incredible landscape.”
Mitchell Hutchcraft
“By climbing this epic peak not only do I get to add another mountain to the tally, but more import than that is mitigating the risks by crossing the Khumbu glacier as fewer times as possible
Next is a multiple day push up to camp 3 on Mt Everest
Base camp to camp 1 and sleep
Camp 1 to camp 2 and sleep
Camp 2 to camp 3 then return to base camp
Cannot wait to officially start pushing up the mountain o have dreamed about since childhood.”
Ben Wright
“We trekked from Dingboche to Lobuche which took around 4 hours, a pretty easy trek until just before the climbers memorial which is steep but once you get up the views are incredible.
I got to see Lobuche which I climbed 2 years ago which brought back good memories, finally got to Lobuche to rest up and then head onto base camp tomorrow.”
Dave Watson
“First leg of this years expedition has taken me to base camp and the start of the southern route. This next leg will take me to the start of the northern route. Then we go high.”
Marie-Pier Desharnais
“Walking through the Khumbu Icefall today, I was struck by how much has changed since 2021. What was once a labyrinth of towering ice blocks now reveals far more exposed rock. The signs of climate change are undeniable—and deeply unsettling.
These mountains teach us resilience. But they’re also sounding the alarm.”
Vladimir Kotlyar
“In excellent weather, we reached from Lobuche (4900) to the base camp (5300). Base camp will be our home for the coming weeks, this is where we will spend the most of our time, from here we plan and go out and return here for vacation.”
Kami Rita Sherpa
“Heading up Everest leading India Army team with seven summit treks 2025 spring season.”
AGA Adventures
“Ice fall training
Next… rest and relax! A few days to chill at basecamp before the first rotation begins to Camp 3 (7100m)
The team is strong and enjoying some incredible weather on Everest!”
Kevin Sanchez
“And we have liftoff!!!
Everest Basecamp, here we come!!!”
Madison Mountaineering
“Ahhh, it feels good to be here… Hello, Everest Base Camp!
With smiles abound and full of excitement, our climbing and trekking teams made their way into EBC today. After being greeted by our Sherpa team, we celebrated another milestone in the journey, settled into our tents, and enjoyed a warm and nutritious welcome meal in our temporary home.
It’s good to be back here once again! “
Abiral Rai
“The acclimatization and training schedule is progressing smoothly here at Everest Base Camp. Spirits are high, and everything is going very positively for our CTSS and Tag Nepal 2025 Everest Expedition team.
Some of our climbers have completed their first rotation and had returned to base camp, while others are currently en route to Camp 1 and Camp 2. A few more teams are preparing to begin their rotations in the coming days.
Step by step, we move forward—stronger together and focused on the journey ahead.”
