“Guide Alexander Dorojukov reports from Nepal:
Namaste to everyone from Nepal! The “Te and Yeti” group continues its ascent to Everest base camp. Today we had a march from Dingboche to Lobuche. Beautiful views along the way, a great trek. We stopped by the memorial, honored the memory of the deceased climbers. After lunch, as always, the weather deteriorates, wind, snow falls. The condition of all participants is excellent. Tomorrow we go to Gorak Shep and visit the base camp.”

“Base camp is complete and most of our climbers have arrived. They are spending their days training, relaxing, eating great food prepared by chef Emma and the amazing Kumar, and sipping cappuccinos in the big dome courtesy of barista China Lama.”

“It has taken 8 days to approach the base camp, moving up from Lukla 2860m to EBC 5360m, staying in various mountain guest houses and hiking 5-8 hours each day with 2 rest days to acclimatise.
I am extremely happy to arrive at the base camp without the ‘Khumbu cough’ an illness that can be developed on the route. I’m grateful for @coreplex.official for keeping my immune system strong and other methods like my air warming mask for working 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Let’s see what the altitude does now..
The base camp looks incredible! Thanks to the amazing team at @8kexpeditions for setting everything up! I love my home for the next 5 weeks!
The Khumbu icefall looks formidable but the journey has now truly began!!”

“211 days after diving into the English Channel I have finally made ….. 13,157km of human power over 19 countries and it has been a dream come true
The distance done….. only one thing remains….. summit Mount Everest and keep a promise to myself that I made 14 years ago
The work is far far from over!
I’m here to try and prove that you and you alone know the definition of possible
Over the next month I will summit other mountains, and work harder than I ever have in my life…. right here in the shadow of Mt Everest
To every single person who has followed and supported I can’t thank you enough
Its all come down to this
Keep tuned for the final push to the top of the world.”

“Everest expedition Day 8: Rest day at Namche Bazar
The Puja is a sacred blessing performed by monks to ask for safe passage through the mountains. It’s an important moment of reflection and respect for the spiritual power of the Himalayas.”

“All is well in the Himalayas!
The journey to base camp is officially underway! Our Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu teams are making their way through the vibrant Khumbu Valley—surrounded by color, culture, and those iconic Himalayan views. A bit of rain kicked things off, but spirits are high as we move steadily along the trail, crossing suspension bridges and gazing up at the towering peaks above.
We’ve now reached Namche Bazaar, soaking in the lively energy of this mountain hub—cafes, art galleries, and local shops galore. Soon, we’ll be back on the trail, heading deeper into this legendary valley!
To higher places!”

“Our Imagine Nepal Everest expedition team is trekking towards the Everest base camp and the Sherpa team set up the base camp beautifully. Our tents by @pelliot.outdoors will be seen in our camps and thanks to Pelliot for sponsoring whole our team with climbing equipment and tents. I will be soon joining the team at base camp. Looking forward to meet my amazing team and pray for a successful season.”
