Patience is key in the mountains… very much the case right now.

We had to postpone our move by 24h as the weather has shifted a bit. So we’re only leaving tonight, 2am breakfast, and we’re off straight after. Heading for Camp 2.

Ascent Himalayas

After a rest in camp 2 our team has decided to go for a summit push on Everest/Lhotse.

They left for camp 3 this morning.

Below is our summit plan for Everest/Lhotse.

Everest/Lhotse
May 10: Camp 3
May 11: Camp 4
May 12: Summit and back to camp 2
May 13: Lhotse summit

Jonathon Lamy

“Made it safely to Camp 2 this morning, in the smashing sun.
Everything is perfect.”

International Mountain Guides

Our Team at EBC is prepped and ready to head up on their summit rotation tonight. The team is feeling great, and the weather forecast is looking good for the coming days. As always, we will evaluate as we move higher on the mountain.

Up at Camp 3, IMG Senior Guide, Phunuru Sherpa reports light winds with the occasional gust. The team is settled in and will be sleeping on oxygen tonight. They will then plug into a new bottle for the climb to the South Col in the morning.

It is time to climb Mount Everest!

Steve Davis

Leaving basecamp tonight for our summit attempt of Everest and Lhotse.
