Imagine Nepal Team Celebrates Manaslu Summit Success
The Imagine Nepal expedition team has confirmed the successful summit of Manaslu (8,163m), with a total of 35 climbers reaching the top during this season’s push.
The main group summited between 5:00 AM and 8:40 AM on September 23, while a smaller party had already topped out on September 21. Confirmation of the achievement came this morning from Base Camp.
International Team and Leadership
The climbers included 12 Chinese nationals, 3 Estonians, and 17 Sherpa guides. The ascent was led by Imagine Nepal Managing Director Mingma G Sherpa, who marked his eighth Manaslu summit—seven of them completed without the use of bottled oxygen.
At sunrise, the team reached the peak as the mountain lit up in golden light, capping off months of preparation with a memorable summit day.
