Elite Expeditions Celebrates Historic Summit Success on Manaslu
The autumn season on Manaslu (8,163m) continues to deliver moments of history, with Elite Expeditions Team B achieving a remarkable summit success on the morning of 28 September 2025. An incredible 26 climbers reached the top of the world’s eighth-highest peak, marking one of the largest groups to stand on the summit this year.
Beyond the scale of the achievement, the climb also carried historic significance. Nima Chirring Sherpa, just 16 years, 4 months, and 18 days old, set a world record as the youngest climber ever to summit Manaslu. His accomplishment stands as a new milestone in the history of Himalayan mountaineering.
Another landmark moment came on 26 September, when Aida Peko became the first Bosnian woman to summit Manaslu, reaching the peak at 07:15 AM and writing her nation into the mountain’s history.
The summit team included climbers from across the globe, united by a shared dream of reaching 8000m. Among them:
