Route to Dhaulagiri Opened for Autumn 2025 Season

The autumn climbing season on Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167m) is officially underway after the route-fixing team successfully reached the summit at 7:05 AM on 26 September 2025.

A joint team of Sherpas from 14 Peaks Expedition and Seven Summit Treks completed the rope-fixing work, ensuring that the mountain is now accessible for all climbers aiming for the summit this season.

The successful team included:

• Tashi Sherpa (Makalu 01, Sankhuwasabha)

• Lakpa Temba Sherpa (Makalu 01, Sankhuwasabha)

• Phurba Kusang Sherpa (Makalu 02, Sankhuwasabha)

• Pasang Nurbu Sherpa (Makalu 02, Sankhuwasabha)

Their skill, endurance, and commitment have once again paved the way for climbers from around the world to follow.
