Second 7 Summits Club Team Reaches the Top of Manaslu
Manaslu, Nepal – September 25, 2025
The autumn season on Manaslu (8,163m) has brought further success for the 7 Summits Club, as the expedition’s second group, led by Andrey Berezin, has reached the summit in full.
Summiteers include Yuri Dyachuk, Vasily Kernitsky, Dmitry Pil’shchikov, and Olga Rumyantseva. Among them, Dmitry Pil’shchikov distinguished himself with a remarkable blitz ascent, climbing from Base Camp to the summit in just five days, having trained beforehand using xenon.
As of this afternoon, Olga Rumyantseva is on her descent to Camp 4, where Berezin is awaiting her arrival. The remaining members are continuing down toward the lower camps. Expedition leader Alexander Abramov is positioned at Camp 1, ready to welcome the team as they return safely from the mountain.
Meanwhile, members of the 7 Summits Club’s first Manaslu group are now back at Base Camp and preparing for their flight to Kathmandu, marking the conclusion of their successful expedition.
The 7 Summits Club continues to add to its strong record on Manaslu this season, with both groups achieving their summit goals under careful leadership and support.
