Incredible Achievement on K2!
Huge congratulations to our fearless team and guides for summiting “K2 (8,611m) – The Savage Mountain ”this morning! Despite the challenging and unpredictable weather conditions, our team made the impossible possible by seizing a narrow summit window today on 28th July 2024.
We extend our best wishes for a safe descent for the entire team.

This year rope fixing process on K2 was incredibly demanding. Special thanks to the professional Sherpas from 8K, Imagine, HG, and SST for their joint effort in fixing the ropes. Severe weather and technical terrain challenges required exceptional skill and teamwork, ensuring the success and safety of the entire expedition on the treacherous path to the summit.

8K-K2 Expedition Team Reaches Milestone, Sets Sights on Summit
Our 8K-K2 Expedition team has successfully established Camp II, marking a significant milestone in their journey to conquer the second-highest mountain in the world. With the team in good health and high spirits, they are now focused on reaching the summit on July 28th.
Led by @dawaongjusherpa , the team has demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork as they navigate the challenging terrain and unpredictable weather conditions of K2. Establishing Camp II is a testament to their expertise and preparation.
