26th July
Tracker shows Victor close to the top of Broad Peak – but no summit.
12th July
“4th Rotation performed. After a bad night with a lot of wind and a lot of cold, I am back in base camp regaining strength. Now waiting for the window of good weather, to be able to make the attack on top. 8,047m.”
3rd July
“Had two rotations to Broad Peak Camp 1, 5,700m
“Waiting for the weather to improve, to make a third rotation and go up to camp 2, 6,300m.”
25th June
“The porters!!! We are lucky with these people and it’s amazing how small and thin they are yet what they can carry!”
19th June
Broad Peak & K2 Expedition. After 4 flight cancellations for the Covid issues entering Pakistan, I finally get to Skardu with three stops.
