𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠! to Imagine Nepal’s Everest Team members 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱 and 𝗣𝗵𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗷𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗮, who reached the summit of Everest at 11:55 am. NPT on May 15th, 2023.

Kitti Boonnitrod was a member of Imagine Nepal’s Manaslu Expedition in 2022 and successfully reached the true summit.

This is the tenth summit for Phur Galjen Sherpa. He has also climbed nine of the world’s 14 eight-thousanders. He is one of the most experienced climbers in our team and has been continuously working with Imagine Nepal for a long time. Phur Galjen Sherpa is among the five Nepalese climbers who have successfully made the Yalung Khang-8505m summit.

Imagine Nepal

At 12:50 pm today, 15 May 2023, Dawa Tenjin Sherpa, Pasang Namgyal Sherpa and Tamting Sherpa from Imagine Nepal completed their rope-fixing operations on the mountain. With this achievement, they opened the window for climbers waiting to climb Lhotse this year. In addition, Ngima Nuru and Pemba Tamang also supported the team by carrying rope and fixing equipment.

Furtenbach Adventures

We are happy to share another update! Our Everest and Lhotse Expedition team arrived safely in Camp 3.

Pioneer Expeditions

Wishing the Everest 2023 team A the best of luck as they embark on their summit push from base camp! They’ve safely reached camp 2 and are now eagerly awaiting the perfect weather window to conquer the peak. May their determination and skill guide them to the summit and back, achieving their dreams!

Meanwhile, as team B gears up for their own journey, we send them our heartfelt wishes for a safe and successful ascent to camp 2. Let the mountains inspire and reward their efforts!

Kirstie Ennis Foundation

Despite Rob’s best efforts to rejoin the team at Camp Two, his illness will ultimately prevent him from moving forward and summiting with Kirstie. His health and safety is of upmost concern, but his absence will be heavily felt on the continued Everest Redemption.

Kirstie was finally able to get some good rest and along with Anup and Kami, she will be making the move to Camp Three.
Keep your eyes on the tracker starting 5am 5/15 (Nepal Time) which is in about 4 hours from right now, as the team heads to Camp Three.

From there, the team will do a push to Camp Four by tomorrow.

Stefi Troguet

Good morning from C2! !
As yesterday I didn’t reached as high as I wanted, change of plans! Tomorrow I’ll go up to C3 again for a 3rd rotation!

Madison Mountaineering

With beautiful weather in Everest Base Camp this morning, some of our team seized the day and headed out for some more training on the ice towers of the Khumbu Glacier!

All of our climbers have now arrived back in base camp from their “drop back” in Namche Bazaar. They’ll stay active for the next few days before starting their push to the summits of the planet’s highest and fourth-highest peaks: Everest and Lhotse!

Oxana Morneva

Dear friends, the latest news from Everest! Our team climbed to the Summit, at 6 am! Evgeny Krivoshapkin, accompanied by his guide Pasang Lama, went down in history as the first Yakut and Sakha on the Summit of Everest! Thank you to the Everest for letting Summit!!!

Adventure Consultants

The ropes are in and the winds have dropped. The first teams summitted yesterday, after a delay due to the high winds and inability to stock South Col Camp 4. Our sherpa team have made it to South Col so we’re almost ready for our summit push. The push is a seven day round trip so we have to pick the weather well in advance. To help with recovery and prep we’ve been doing short walks from EBC. Yesterday we headed towards Gorak Shep with the aim of finding Pika which is a small rodent like a Guinea Pig. They are elusive and though we spotted one it was reluctant to stay still for photos. On the way we were reacquainted with the camp dog. It seems Trekkers Rock is a better place for scavenging scraps and cuddles. Some of our team feel a little rejected but the life of a Khumbu dog is tough and fickle so they go where life is best.

The logistics are finally in place and thanks to the amazing Sherpas, our route to the summit has been set, and I’ve been given the green light for my summit push starting tonight.

Some teams took a gamble and started early, and I hope it pays off for them. The fierce winds and jet stream have been challenging for the Sherpas, but now it’s time for us to make our summit attempt. I’ve lost a lot of weight in the past 6 weeks but still feel strong and ready to give it my best shot.

Staying healthy is crucial for a successful summit, and if I can stay strong for a few more days, I have a great chance of reaching the top. A big thank you to my sponsors and everyone for their support. I’ll be out of communication starting tomorrow for about a week, but I hope to indirectly update you via satellite messaging.

Summit Bound!
After 15 days of anticipation at Base Camp, the team finally got the green light to ascend Mt. Everest. They will be embarking on their epic journey to the summit starting at 2am tomorrow.
Join us in sending them positive thoughts and prayers as they plan on summiting Everest on May 21st and Lhotse on the 23rd.

It’s already confirmed. Mateo Isaza managed to climb to the summit of Mount Everest and did it in the best style that this mountain allows: no supplemental oxygen, no Sherpa, no assistance in height fields, in complete autonomy.
