The weather in Camp 2 (6450m) was rough 🌪👊🏼…
And so it goes these days…! Praying for good weather

Over the last few days we’ve done our rotation up through the icefall to the foot of the Lhotse Face and back. Now fattening up at Base Camp and waiting for the weather.

Back in #everestbasecamp after our 1+ week rotation up to eventually touch Camp 3 at approx 23,000ft.

Back in base camp after our 1+ week rotation up to eventually touch Camp 3 at approx 23,000ft.

For now it’s time to recharge the body and wait for our summit window!

Ascent Himalayas

Despite facing challenging weather conditions and physical demands, the expedition team successfully completed the rotation up to camp 3, reaching an altitude of approximately 7000m above sea level. The team will now have a chance to rest and recuperate at base camp before deciding on their next steps. The team will also assess their plans and the current weather conditions to make informed decisions for their future climbs.

It’s no easy feat scaling high altitudes like this, but we’re impressed with the team’s determination and grit. We remain hopeful for their safe and successful return to base camp today.
