“Today, our incredible members are taking a well-deserved rest at Camp 2, gathering strength for the climb ahead. Meanwhile, our heroic Sherpa team is forging ahead to Camp 3, setting up tents and prepping the route for the next push.
The weather? Absolutely perfect — a gentle mix of sun and light cloud, with zero wind. Ideal conditions for the next phase of our ascent!”

“Kenton, Rich Williams and Dorjee Gyelzen have safely made it to Camp 3 on Everest. Their sights are set on the summit over the next few days.”

“Everest Summit Bid – Stage 2. We left Camp 1 (19,900’) at 6am to avoid the blistering sun since the trail is on a glacier nestled between two 7000’ peaks. You wake up and have to pack everything. Most of your personal gear is brought to Camp 2 (21,000’) by porters. The beauty leaving so early is the crunching of the snow as you take one step at a time. The hard part is you see Camp 2 and it seems so close yet it is so far. We will either leave tonight or tomorrow for Camp 3 (23,500’) depending on the wind forecast on Everest’s summit.”

“Summit Push – Team 1 Update: All of Team 1 are safe and sound and doing well at Camp 2!
It was a long night and day going straight from Base Camp to Camp 2 and skipping Camp 1 with the exception of a quick lunch there, but that’s the normal path on the summit push. They also contended with the very strong heat in the early afternoon, but with the rest of the afternoon to rest and rehydrate they can also look forward to a further rest day tomorrow staying at Camp 2. Weather dependent, they will make their way to Camp 3 the day after on the 18th May, Camp 4 on the 19th and the summit on the 20th May.
Summit Team 2 are eagerly waiting out to leave BC on the evening of the 18th, targeting the 23rd for the summit.”
