French Team reach Dansam Peak summit

A French expedition has reached the summit of the little known Dansam Peak.

Martin Elias, Jerome Sullivan, Victor Saucede and Jeremy Stagnetto have made the first ascent of the mountain with logistics from tour operator ‘High Mountains Treks and Tours.’

The mountain’s remoteness means little is known about it with it’s 6,666m height standing in the Kondus Valley of Pakistan.

Martin Elias – 3rd July

“During the last month we climbed a new route the north spur of Dansam Occidental Peak, 6.600m of altitude.
1.600 meters of technical climbing up to M6, 6.
In the recently opened Dansam/K13 Kondus valley in Pakistan
We spent 6 days of climbing on the wall reaching the summit on the 29th .

“On the summit whe had the surprise to find some old gear , the mistery remains…
